Everton are a remarkable club; able to go toe-to-toe with the Premier League big boys on shoestring budget year in and year out. The managerial switch last summer has, if anything, improved the fortunes of the Merseysiders, with Martinez looking to play a more expansive passing than in previous seasons.
Bill Kenright may not have the money of say, a Roman Abramovich but, that aside, he has always done his upmost to back his manager and ensure that Everton do the very best that they possibly can.
This summer coming will be another opportunity for the Spaniard to shape his new look side as he tries to finally galvanise a push back into the upper echelons of European football.
