Hello internet! Welcome to another edition of Fantasy Premier League: Forecasting Bad Fixtures, in which we delve into which teams and their respective players are set to face some rather difficult match-ups heading into the final few games of the season.

Last weekend’s edition made sure that we tried to avoid players with a blank Gameweek 35, and with that over we can do put our focus on the last three gameweeks of the season, which includes several teams that have a Double Gameweek 37.

However, as we learned back in Gameweek 34, sometimes the players playing just the single game could accrue even more points than those with two, as the quality of a single gameweek player and the chance of rotation for those with the double may come into play.

This will also be the last time we roll out this article due to the small amount of games, but don’t fret as the captains and differentials write-ups are set to continue until the very last day.

Here are THREE TEAMS to AVOID ahead of Gameweek 36!

Swansea City

Swansea dejected

Swansea City probably have the hardest run-in of any team in the Premier League in the last three games this season, but luckily for the Welsh club, there isn’t much to play for with 41 points already on the board.

The Swans face Liverpool (Home), West Ham United (Away), and Manchester City (Home) in their next three, three teams that are all in the European spots this term.

Those still keeping hold of Gylfi Sigurdsson should let go, with the Iceland star already thinking about his country’s Euro 2016 campaign.

Southampton

Southampton dejected

Southampton are set to finish the campaign in the top half of the table, albeit in the mid-table area. They do have a slight chance of qualifying for the Europa League, but their next two games won’t bode well for their chances.

The Saints play Manchester City (Home), Tottenham (Away), and Crystal Palace (Home) in their last fixture, with the Palace clash possibly the only game worth noting.

However, Ronald Koeman has been heavily rotating his players due to their lack of objective, and choosing any Southampton stars (Sadio Mane, Dusan Tadic, Graziano Pelle, etc) will be a gamble, even if they’re in decent form with four wins from their last six.

Norwich City

Norwich City dejected

Norwich City, along with Sunderland and Newcastle United, are fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table, and with two games in Gameweek 37, quite a few managers are eyeing their assets as enablers for bigger stars.

However, the Canaries are in extremely poor form with five losses in their last seven, and their fixture list reads Arsenal (Away), a double against Man United (Home) and Watford (Home), before a final day showdown with Everton (Away).

Even as an enabler with a double, there seems to be much more value in buying those in the Sunderland camp, with the Black Cats also having two games in GW37. Avoid the Canaries at all cost, as Norwich are favourites with the Bookies to go down.
