If Liverpool looked back to find out what could have been, the Kolo Toure failed back pass would surely be one of those crucial moments. During the 67th minute in the match between Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion, Toure got a back pass all wrong as he stroked the ball straight into the path of Victor Anichebe right in front of the penalty box.
Anichebe placed the ball into the bottom corner making the score line level at 1-1. If this mistake could have been avoided, Liverpool won’t be under so much pressure at this point in the title race. A momentary lapse of judgment from Toure could be what separates Liverpool and Manchester City come final day.
