Ronald Koeman will undoubtedly be the happier of the two managers who were at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon as Everton nicked a late point against Manchester United.
After the Red Devils looked largely in control for most of the game, it was Leighton Baines who struck from the penalty spot in the last few minutes as the Toffees searched for a late win.
In the end, that was not to come. But the English full back's effort was enough to cancel out Zlatan Ibrahimovic's earlier strike from the first half, in what was an intriguing game of football.
Both sides knew that only a win would really help their respective ambitions this season, but after consuming the ninety minutes it has to be the Blues boss who will feel more upbeat going into their next game.
For Jose Mourinho, another head-scratcher. Here are five images to help sum it up...
Rojo a lucky man
Marcos Rojo was very lucky to stay on the pitch after an awful two-footed lunge on Idrissa Gueye earned him only a yellow card. It was in the air, out of control and completely mistimed, yet the man in the middle Michael Oliver didn't seem to think it was that bad. To Gueye's credit he quickly got on with things, but that may have convinced the ref that only a yellow would suffice.
Ibrahimovic again
The summer signing once again found the net for United in acrobatic style as he lobbed Maarten Stekelenburg. For whatever reason, the Toffees 'keeper came flying out of his goal to try and clear an aerial ball but as he steamed beyond the penalty box, Ibrahimovic reached the ball first with one of his trademark languid legs and flicked it over the Dutchman's head. The ball bounced off both crossbar and post before, crucially, just about crossing the line.
Could he have gone too?
It wasn't a particularly violent game of football but there were a few moments where things got close to the mark. A second-half tussle between Seamus Coleman and Zlatan Ibrahimovic ended up with both on the floor, before the striker decided to roll across the defender in a strange attempt to squash him. It wasn't needed from the former Barcelona man and on another day he could have found himself in real trouble. The Ireland defender was left worse for wear to say the least.
A tactical affair
We saw a fair few barnstormers over the weekend but this was not one of them. Instead, it was a far more measured contest as you might expect from one of the finest defenders of his generation in Ronald Koeman and the typically pragmatic Jose Mourinho in the opposing dugouts. It wasn't a boring game by any stretch of the imagination but it also won't live too long in the memory as both sides knew what a defeat would mean.
Baines earns a point
United thought they were going to get back to winning ways and duly brought on Marouane Fellaini in a bid to see things out. Instead, though, the bobble-headed midfielder blew his chance to impress in a late cameo and gave away a penalty in the last few minutes. Leighton Baines was more than happy to step up, too, and calmly rolled the ball home past David De Gea's outstretched arm for a point.
