Cardiff City striker Fraizer Campbell looks set to leave this summer, and former club Hull City are favourites for his signature, Mirror reports.
Campbell has been in impressive form in his first season back in the top flight, with a number of clubs looking to keep him in the Premier League next year.
The former Manchester United man is ready to leave the Welsh outfit after the ‘Bluebirds’ were sent crashing into the Championship after just being promoted last year.
And the 26-year-old would love to stay in the Premiership, commanding a price tag of only £800,000.
Although the striker has played for Man United as well as Tottenham Hotspur, it is another of his former clubs Hull City that have been the most keen.
He couldn’t stop his team from beating the drop, but his performances have been of a high standard – scoring 9 goals in all competitions this season.
But it is his bargain price that has alerted Premier League clubs to consider taking a chance on the quick forward.
Sunderland boss Gus Poyet has also voiced his interest in the Englishman after the Black Cats managed to avoid relegation.
