The Leicester City fairytale will rumble into the New Year, as the defending Premier League champions secured their place in the knock-out stages of the Champions League with a 2-1 victory over Club Brugge- which sees the Foxes advance as group winners.

Claudio Ranieri's side have been formidable in Europe this season, although their domestic form has been woeful, and the club can now look ahead and wonder who they might face in the next round.

The possibility of facing the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund or Juventus would not have even been imaginable a few years ago and the Foxes will be looking forward to the draw for the next round in December.

Sealing their spot with one match remaining, Leicester have won four of their five games in Europe thus far and have only conceded a solitary goal during that run. In fact, they've now won more games in the Champions League this season than they have done in the Premier League.

Naturally, the players were over the moon with their achievement and they took to social media to celebrate.
