The 18-year-old Gambian has recently emerged as one of the MLS’ top talents following a string of fine displays for the Canadian-based franchise.
The latest in a long line of fine outings saw the teenager become American soccer’s youngest ever hat-trick scorer with a three-goal haul against the Seattle Sounders – who are widely regarded as one of the country’s top sides.
Manneh rose to prominence in the USA’s lower leagues, where he netted an astonishing 21 gaols in 16 outings for Lonestar SC.
This led to a switch up the ladder to the Austin Aztex after a short trial period with Chelsea.
Manneh has carried his form into the top tier of the American club game and has even been compared to current New York Red Bulls and former Arsenal star Thierry Henry.
The youngster is believed to now be on the radar of the Gunners as well as Liverpool and Chelsea.
A big fan of the Premier League, the pacey forward may be tempted to make a move to England in the future.
The MLS has seen a number of home-grown stars move to Europe, with Brek Shea, now of Stoke, one of the most recent examples.
Can MLS talent cope in England? And could Kekuta Manneh be the next Thierry Henry?
