The Croatian midfielder has been in fantastic form this season, and has attracted fresh interest from La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid.
However, he has insisted he remains happy at Sevilla, and the club are looking to extend his current contract which runs until 2015.
“It’s needless to comment about Atletico because I have a contract with Sevilla and, as I said, I feel good here,” Rakitic said.
“I have great respect for Atletico but for me there is only one club – Sevilla.
“Currently there is nothing better than Sevilla and I do not think about anything. The talk about me is nice, but I do not care.”
Sevilla president Jose Castro handed the Premier League giants a blow, by insisting the club had no desire to sell their prized asset.
“It is an important negotiation. We’ve already had two meetings and I believe we’ve come to a friendly agreement,” Castro said.
“The agreement is clear, we have reached an understanding. There are details to refine but they will not stop Ivan from signing a contract for the next few seasons.”
