But Valdes has reportedly told his advisors he fancies a switch to the Premier League, and is hoping to sound out potential options before the end of the campaign.
Valdes has won 19 caps for his country, often finding his place in the Spanish national team taken by the likes of Iker Casillas and Pepe Reina in recent years.
He has won six La Liga titles and three Champions League’s during his time with the Catalan giants, but is now set to look for a new challenge.
