Liverpool and Manchester United are keeping an eye on a trio of stars from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg, according to talkSPORT.

Liverpool were heavily linked with a move for Norweigian midfielder Valon Berisha in January, and are expected to return with an offer in the summer.

The 21-year-old has fired three goals and created nine assists across the league and Europa League this season, and came to everyones attention with a fine performance during a shock winter friendly victory over Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile Manchester United are looking to replace the outgoing Nemanja Vidic with 21-year-old centre back Martin Hinteregger.

The Austrian centre back is close to making over 100 appearances for the club, despite his tender age.

He has recently made his international debut, and is comfortable playing as a centre back or at left back.

Both clubs are also keeping an eye on 28-year-old forward Jonathan Soriano, who has enjoyed another fantastic season in front of goal.

The Spaniard was once on the books of Barcelona, but found his path to first team football blocked by the likes of Lionel Messi and David Villa.

He has managed 31 goals in just 27 appearances this season, which has alerted both Manchester United and Liverpool as well as a host of other top European sides.
