The Chilean forward has been heavily linked with a move away from the Nou Camp in recent weeks, with that Catalan giants believed to be set for a massive clear-out in the coming transfer window.
Sanchez is one of the high profile names to have been linked with a move away, with Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal just three top sides to have been linked with the impish attacker.
The 25-year-old enjoyed a relatively successful campaign in what was an underwhelming season for Barca, netting 21 goals and providing 17 assists.
The La Liga heavyweights’ president Josep Maria Bartomeu says that despite the speculation Sanchez is a key player at the club, and one they will be keeping:
“He’s not for sale, he has a contract with us and is an important part of the squad.” He is quoted by The Express.
“Sanchez has had a great season and, of course, will be a part of Barcelona next season as well.”
Sanchez has also been linked with a move to Juventus.
