Daniel Sturridge scored again at the weekend, not that that’d surprise you or anything.
But it does happen to put him up there with one of the most prolific goal scorers in Liverpool’s long and illustrious history.
The image below shows that he’s the second highest Liverpool goalscorer – after just 50 games – of all time. Given that leader George Allan nabbed his record way back in the late 1800s, I think we can safely say Sturridge is well on his way to becoming a Kop legend.
He’s even beaten the once brilliant Fernando Torres!
