With just a few days left in the transfer market before Deadline Day, teams need to start acting quickly to finalise their squads until January.
This can be said for most sides, as ridiculous as it seems, as many do not currently have the complete squad they would have liked and Liverpool are no different.
Whilst attacking-wise the Reds have done decent business getting in players, they still have a couple of areas that could be worked on.
The Anfield club could do with some more width going forward after seeing what Sadio Mane can do from this position, while it would also be good to see them target a couple of young stars that Jurgen Klopp can mould.
Meanwhile, the most glaring weakness is in defence. The Reds may have to get another centre-half in and they definitely need a new left-back.
Time's ticking though so something needs to be done quickly, and the Reds might do well to look at La Liga for potential recruits.
We think there are FIVE fantastic options the Reds should look at, so here they are...
Fabio Coentrao
Coentrao is likely to find playing time limited this season with Marcelo an ever present feature in Real Madrid's back line.
He spent last season on loan at Monaco and would surely be keen on a move again to play regularly.
Step forward Liverpool, who desperately need a new left-back and with the added experience the Portuguese would bring, it'd surely help calm the Reds' defence down a bit.
Jose Gaya
Another left-back but this time a younger one and it could be that factor that sways Liverpool's decision if they are to pick between Gaya and Coentrao.
The Valencia man has all the attributes to be a good defender for years to come and is expected to challenge Jordi Alba in the Spanish senior side in the near future.
He fits the Reds' profile for transfer targets and that could be pivotal.
Santi Mina
Santi Mina is a 20-year-old forward and many at Valencia are hoping he's going to be one for their future. Other factors may influence that, though.
The club have financial difficulties to contend with as well as getting their season off to a poor start on the opening weekend against Las Palmas, and that could leave the Spaniard wanting out.
Liverpool should be interested, he's young and talented and Jurgen Klopp could get the best out of him.
Mateo Musacchio
Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan look set to be Liverpool's centre-halves this season.
If the Mamadou Sakho does end up leaving the club, temporarily or for good, the Reds will be short in defence and for a side that are already frail in that area, that could be hugely problematic.
The team need to focus on a contingency plan and Musacchio would be a good choice.
Alessio Cerci
The Italian winger is out of favour at Atletico Madrid and this may be of interest to Liverpool.
Since 2014 Cerci has made only six appearances for Atleti and has been out on loan to both AC Milan and Genoa in that time, during which, at the latter, he hit four goals in eleven games.
He's clearly a talented player who just needs a run of games and with Liverpool still needing width, he could be an ideal buy.
