Jurgen Klopp has a tough decision to make about his goalkeeping situation.

Despite what he says, the feeling is that Liverpool ARE looking for a new No.1, and whilst he sees Simon Mignolet as acceptable, the Belgian surely isn't really what German wants.

But the Dortmund boss has rubbished any such allegations, saying: "Our goalkeeping situation is absolutely okay. Simon Mignolet is a really, really good keeper."

So, amid the speculation, should he go for a 'keeper that has Premier League experience and understands the pressure each game brings? Or does he look abroad and bring in someone else's main man and hope that they fulfil his requirements?

Whichever way he goes, it was a strange decision to many that he handed Mignolet a new contract in January this year. The 27-year-old has won 17 caps for his country and is on course to be part of the Belgian squad participating at EURO 2016 this summer, but his place at Anfield is less assured.

A few names have emerged for Klopp to consider, but one of these FIVE could be the option Liverpool need...

Fraser Forster

Value - £5.0

The Southampton number one spent quite a part of this season out on the injury table, but since coming back in to the side over the New Year the Saints have shored up their defence. The ex-Celtic ace is highly-rated on the South Coast, and kept a record number of clean sheets earlier this year - including blanks at both Manchester United and Arsenal. Forster would arguably be a decent buy from St. Mary’s, such is his superb ability and the desperate need for a reliable goalkeeper who has the backing of the entire Liverpool crowd.

Marc-Andre Ter Stegen

When pressed on the club's reported interest in Ter Stegen, Klopp said: "No. [He is a] good goalkeeper, but no." His interest was at an all time high in January, but appears to have tailed off since, yet he is still in the reckoning. Manchester City are also keen on Ter Stegen and the Barcelona keeper is still to decide where his future lies. That is according to Squawka, who also say the Catalans will demand £30m for the shot-stopper's signature.

The German is surely keen to move from the Nou Camp at the end of the season given his lack of first-team opportunities. City appear to be in top spot to steal away the 'keeper, but Klopp is biding his time.

Joe Hart

Joe Hart

England's No.1 is seemingly destined for the exit once Pep Guardiola lands at Manchester City. Klopp needs a dependable man between the sticks and the 29-year-old, with 57 England caps to his name, could be the man that the Liverpool boss turns to. If Hart stays at City, it is likely he will have a massive fight on his hands to stay as first choice, as Guardiola wants to bring in a new face.

Hart is highly-regarded at City. As the longest-serving player in the squad, he has a sense of identity with the club and the fans which the hierarchy are keen to promote and develop throughout the academy.

Loris Karius

Jurgen Klopp

The Mainz keeper is 22-years-old and a real German prospect. Karius has impressed in the Bundesliga this season and he has been capped by Germany at under-21 level. The 'keeper is tipped for a big future, and Mainz are keen to keep hold of their man, who spent part of his youth career with Manchester City.

Bernd Leno

Bernd Leno

Currently the first choice goalkeeper at Bayer Leverkusen. The 23-year-old shot-stopper is reported to be on Jurgen Klopp’s radar.

Both Karius and Leno are regarded as two of the Bundesliga's top goalkeepers and as possible replacements for Manuel Neuer in the German national team. Leno, however, is also being eyed up by a host of top European clubs, so Liverpool may have to act fast.
