Jurgen Klopp spoke to the press earlier this afternoon as he previewed Liverpool's meeting with Swansea at lunchtime on Saturday. The Reds go into the game on the back of a 5-1 victory against Hull City at Anfield and travel to South Wales looking for another three points to aid their good early season form. For Klopp, it is form that means nothing if they do not build on it and improve on their performances so far this season.

Liverpool have not lost since the second weekend of the season - a 2-0 loss at Burnley - and that run has seen them beat Chelsea and Leicester City but for the German, it's irrelevant if they do not build upon that base.

Klopp also offered his thoughts on how Georginio Wijnaldum has settled into the side since his summer move from Newcastle and what impression he has made in training. The Dutchman scored 11 goals last season for the Magpies but has yet to find the net for the Reds. But, Klopp is pleased with his attacking play.

When asked about their opponents Swansea this weekend the Liverpool boss indicated he felt that the Swans had played better than their points total suggested, they've one once this season and currently sit 17th in the Premier League table.

Klopp also took the chance to update fans of the club with any injury concerns the club may have going into the game and reported that one striker could be a doubt.

A win for the Reds would see them go two points behind Manchester City for a few hours at least whilst if Swansea win at home they'll go four points clear of the relegation zone.
