Defensively Liverpool are not the finished article defensively.

In two Premier League games, the Anfield side have conceded five already, which would have been unheard of in the good old days of the seventies and eighties.

One of the players that seems to take the brunt of the fans frustrations is left back Alberto Moreno.

Sky Sport's Gary Neville was also heard to dismiss Moreno after the 24-year-old conceded a penalty at the Emirates and with Neville labelling the challenge on Theo Walcott ‘absolute garbage’,  he added: "You might as well start a goal down with him at left back."

To Liverpool fans the time for change is nigh and here are potentially, five good replacements for the haphazard Moreno...

Bruno Martins Indi

The Netherlands international, 24, has become renowned for his versatility in defence; producing impressive displays in central defence as well as at left-back. But playing mainly as a centre-back, the imposing defender made a total of 34 appearances for Porto last season and his performances have led to interest across Europe.

Jonas Hector

The 26-year-old shone in the Bundesliga last season before becoming first choice left-back for Germany at Euro 2016, helping the team reach the semi-finals of the tournament. It should be another Bundesliga raid for Klopp and he would help solidify the German's leaky back four.

Ricardo Rodriguez

Another Bundesliga star that has come to the forefront of everyone's mind with outstanding displays for Switzerland in this summer's European Championships.

The 23-year-old Wolfsburg man appears undecided as to whether to stay or to go, but there are sure to be other clubs sniffing around the defender and at a potential cost of £22m, Klopp would need to act fast.

Andy Robertson

Robertson began his senior career with Queen's Park in 2012 before joining Dundee United a year later. His form in his first season as a professional led to him being named SPFA Young Player of the Year and also making his international debut. He joined Hull in July 2014 for a fee of £2.85million.

Jordan Amavi

The 22-year-old moved to Villa Park from Nice last summer, but a knee injury in November ended the young player's season before his new side were relegated to the Championship.
