Liverpool are expected to complete three new signings worth a combined £35million this week, according to Daily Express.
An £8.5m fee for QPR’s Loic Remy was agreed over the weekend and the French striker is expected to fly to the US, where the Reds are on their pre-season tour, to complete a medical today.
Brendan Rodgers has also agreed a £10m deal to bring Belgium World Cup star Divock Origi to Anfield, who is also due to arrive in the US for a medical early this week.
And it is now being reported that the Reds have had a £16m bid accepted by Southampton for centre-back Dejan Lovren, with personal terms and contract negotiations now underway, with a deal being completed by as soon as the end of the week.
If Rodgers gets all three of his men, it will take his summer spending to a whopping £100m as he attempts to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League next term.
The arrivals of Remy and Origi are thought to go some way towards replacing the void left by Barcelona-bound Luis Suarez, while Lovren will be welcome addition to a defence that looked less than convincing for the Reds last season.
