Firmino has been in sensational form for the Bundesliga outfit this season, scoring 12 goals and providing eight assists in just 22 appearances.
Sources in Italy reckon his performances have alerted up to six clubs across the continent, with the 22-year-old widely tipped to make a big money move in the summer.
Firmino has just 15 months left to run on his current contract, meaning clubs should be able to sign him for a figure believed to be in the region of £13million, but with so many clubs interested the German club could spark a potential bidding war.
In addition to Brendan Rodgers’ side, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Juventus, Spartak Moscow, Wolfsburg and Zenit St Petersburg have all registered an interest in the Brazilian.
Firmino joined Hoffenheim from Figueirense for a bargain £3.3million back in 2011.
He has been likened to current Reds midfielder Phillipe Coutinho, and Rodgers sees him as fitting into his attacking Reds formation perfectly.
