The 25-year-old Fiorentina star has been watched by a host of Europe’s top clubs according to reports.
Arsenal and Tottenham are both thought to have made enquiries, as well as Manchester United manager David Moyes.
Even reigning European champions Bayern Munich have been linked with him in the past, while Fiorentina also recently rejected an offer from Juventus for his signature.
Sources close to the player believe the Premier League is his preferred destination, and Brendan Rodgers table topping Liverpool lead the chase.
A possible complication to the deal could be the fact that Cuadrado is co-owned by both Fiorentina and Udinese.
However, both clubs would be willing to cash in on the winger for a fee in the region of £20million.
Cuadrado is set to star for Colombia at the summer’s World Cup, so the Reds may look to complete a deal before the summer’s tournament kicks off in Brazil, knowing decent performances could see his value rocket further.
Cuadrado has scored seven goals for the Serie A side this season.
