Spanish midfielder Suso has revealed that he is looking to return to Anfield if Liverpool secure Champions League qualification for next season.

The 20-year-old ace is currently on a loan at with Almeria in his homeland, where he has been impressive.

Despite being a valued youngster on Merseyside, there have been rumours that he may be axed in the summer, with interest in his services strong.

However, Suso says that Champions League football at Liverpool will be enough to convince him to pursue his Reds career:

“I’ve been talking with Liverpool, to see if they’re going to renew my contract,” he is quoted by The Express.

“Next season they could be playing in the Champions League and I’m really keen to be a part of that.”

Suso has been in terrific form for Almeria tis term, managing 24 appearances and seven La Liga assists with the relegation battlers.

The impish playmaker joined Liverpool as a youngster from Cadiz, and broke into the first-team under the guidance of Brendan Rodgers last term.

But with no European action at the club this season, he was sent away for regular playing time to boost his development.
