Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has distanced himself from a summer move to Barcelona, by insisting he is happy at Anfield.

After making a shaky start to the Premier League season, speculation regarding a move has increased.

These rumours have been further fuelled by news that Barca number one Victor Valdes is set to leave the Nou Camp.

Although his contract doesn’t expire until 2014, it’s likely that the La Liga giants will look to bring in a replacement sooner rather than later.

Reina has been heavily linked with position, due to starting his career in the club’s youth set-up.

However Reina, who joined Liverpool in 2005, has no interest in making a move and insists that he is very happy on Merseyside:

"Any talk of me joining Barca is just speculation. I've got a contract at Liverpool and I'm very happy here.” He is quoted by Sky Sports via Radio Marca

"I am sure Victor Valdes with have his reasons for deciding to leave Barcelona. I respect him. He's my teammate and friend. He'll be leaving with his head held high, as he's given his all to Barcelona."

Another Liverpool player to be linked with a summer move is Luis Suarez.

The feisty Uruguayan is believed to be a target for Bayern Munich, but Reina is confident that he won’t be moving:

“I think he'll stay at Liverpool. He's a great player."
