Brendan Rodgers has his eyes on at least two more Anfield arrivals after this week’s trio of deals are completed, according to MirrorFootball.
QPR’s Loic Remy, Southampton’s Dejan Lovren and Lille’s Divock Origi are expected to put pen-to-paper this week to take Liverpool’s summer spending to £100m.
But Rodgers still hasn’t finished strengthening his squad ahead of the new campaign and is planning on splashing out another £50m on Sevilla’s Alberto Moreno and either Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba of Juventus or Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus.
Liverpool’s principal owner John W Henry has shown his faith Rodgers this summer by handing him a huge transfer kitty, as well as every penny of the £75m raised from the sale of Luis Suarez to Barcelona.
And Rodgers is hoping to repay that faith by purchasing the players that will help deliver Liverpool’s first ever Premier League crown next season.
Meanwhile, on the Anfield exit front, Iago Aspas has joined Sevilla on a season-long loan, Kolo Toure is in talks with Turkish side Trabzonspor and Daniel Agger is still seeking a move away from the club.
