Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has ruled out the possibility of him leaving the club in the summer as he wants to stay at Anfield for the long haul.
Suarez has been heavily criticised since he arrived in England for his theatrics and cheating along with sparking a race row with Patrice Evra.
But when he is on form, the 26 year old is unplayable and at times he has single handily lifted Liverpool up the table at times this season.
The Uruguayan striker has had to put up with plenty of abuse from the stands and criticism from pundits and the media this season but that doesn’t seem to have deterred him from his love of the English game.
Suarez claims that even if Liverpool do not make it into the top four this season and qualify for the Champions League, he still wants to stay and help the side improve for the remainder of his Anfield contract.
“I want to say now that, if you want to know what will happen to me if we don’t qualify for the Champions League, then I will say this: I have a contract with Liverpool and I am very happy here. I will stay,” Suarez told the Daily Mail.
