Liverpool-bound Divock Origi will be loaned back to Lille once his £10million switch to the Premier League has been completed, according to the Express.

The Belgian World Cup star is heading to Boston for a medical before putting pen-to-paper on permanent Anfield deal.

But Brendan Rodgers has allowed Lille to take the 19-year-old back on loan for a year in order for him to gain further first-team experience before presumably becoming one of Liverpool’s first choice strikers the following year.

Origi will also be joined by QPR’s Loic Remy, who is also on his way over to the states to complete a medical ahead of an £8.5m move, with an official announcement expected today.

Rodgers could take his summer spending to around £100m by the end of this week if he also manages to sign Southampton defender Dejan Lovren, you is thought to be close to a £20m move from St. Mary’s.

And reports yesterday suggest Rodgers still has around £50m to spend and has the likes of Arturo Vidal, Paul Pogba and Marco Reus on his radar.
