Liverpool went back to the top of the Premier League after a frustrating 3-3 draw  against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park but will feel their title challenge is over. They may blame this on the defence but know if they are to win the the League next year they need Luis Suarez. He scored his 31st Premier League goal of the campaign and Brendan Rodgers's side have shown that their title charge has been down to out scoring the opposition.

The talismanic Uruguyan has been given the awards for PFA and FWA footballer of the year but Liverpool have shown that the spine of their side is strong but they need their star performer who equaled Cristiano Ronaldo and Alan Shearer's Premier League record goal haul for a season this evening.

Daniel Sturridge scored again and he has become a crucial part of the Liverpool strike force and represents half of the SAS partnership. Joe Allen is a player that embodies everything his manager is trying to do and scored his first Premier League goal tonight as Tony Pulis's Palace conceded their first goal from a set piece under Pulis, but Suarez scored the third and all important goal to earn them the point they got. Rodgers will be delighted that Suarez spearheads his attack and has been on great form and knows that having Suarez around is critical to his team's success.

1 Having Luis Suarez in the team has encouraged Liverpool to score goals. Sturridge has been crucial and Joe Allen has even been lifted by Suarez's attacking intent.
