Liverpool announced the capture of Southampton captain Adam Lallana today, in a deal believed to worth around £25million.

Lallana’s breakthrough at Southampton over the last few years has seen him earn international recognition and had him linked with a host of big clubs this summer.

But Liverpool got their man in the end, despite there being a number of question marks over the price they’ve reportedly paid the Saints to get him.

Is Lallana worth £25m? Have Liverpool overpaid? Or have Southampton sold him off too cheaply?

Either way, it’s clear Brendan Rodgers has big plans for the 26-year-old next season and had no hesitation in paying such a huge fee.

But what about the fans? The Reds faithful are hopefully that they’ll witness a similar season to last, with a title race and a top four finish high on the agenda. But do they think Lallana will be key to their plans next term?

Here’s what they think…
