Manchester City star Stevan Jovetic has publicly pledged his future to the club, quashing rumours of a return to Serie A, talkSPORT reports.
Jovetic signed for Man City on a £22million deal only last summer, but had a disappointing season ravished by injuries.
And it was thought that City were looking to offload Jovetic, with Inter Milan highly interested in the Montenegrin striker.
But it seems Sky Blues boss Manuel Pellegrini still considers the former Fiorentina man as part of his first team plans, and Jovetic has reassured he will not be leaving the Etihad this summer.
Speaking to Turkish TV, he said: “I will not leave City. I had a lot of bad luck last season and the club has not seen my real game yet.
“Now it is my turn to demonstrate why I signed for this club.”
Jovetic only managed 16 appearances for the Premier League champions in the last campaign, scoring 6 goals.
