Yaya Toure reckons Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho does not show other clubs enough respect, according to the Daily Star.

The Manchester City star reckons ‘the special one’ should talk less about other sides and focus on his own team.

Mourinho has been as controversial as ever this season, branding Arsene Wenger a “specialist in failure”, whilst also clashing with City boss Manuel Pellegrini.

Toure also had a dig at Mourinho by claiming he struggled to beat Barcelona whilst in charge of Real Madrid.

He said: “He must give respect a little bit. He is always talking about everyone and that is not the correct way.

“That is why Barcelona always beat Madrid, when Mourinho was in Spain. I think he talks more than before, perhaps because the English press likes it.”

Manchester City trail league leaders Chelsea by nine points in the Premier League title race, but hold three games in hand following Captial One and FA Cup commitments, as well as a postponement.

Should City win those three games in hand, they will go back to the top of the table as they boast a superior goal difference to Mourinho’s men.
