Chelsea really struck a hammer blow to Manchester City in the title race with a 1-0 victory at the Etihad stadium. The Blues inflicted a first defeat in 20 home league matches for a Man City. It was their first victory at this ground since the days of Big Phil Scolari.
Man City fans were disappointed at the result but were in no doubt that chelsea were the better team.
Gutted. Well played to Chelsea, Didn’t park the bus at all and should’ve scored more. Miss finishers like Aguero. Lotta season left! #mcfc

The goal that ended up settling the game in the 32nd minute from Branislav Ivanovic was a sizzling drive from the Chelsea defender. A strike worthy of winning any game.
Several supporters expected Mourinho’s charges to park the bus but in reality Matic and Ramires were sensational in midfield the former already proving to be an inspired signing from Chelsea’s special one.
Man City finally looked to have struggled in a big Premier League game against a title opponent for the first time this term. The last match that Man City failed to score in at home was 61 games ago before tonight. The home side were on the back foot for the majority of the game with Chelsea hitting the woodwork 3 times and now the title race is as wide open as ever.
You don’t need to park the bus when you’ve got the coach. One-nil to Mourinho, the master tactician. Hazard/Cahill/Matic+ superb #cfc
