Udinese striker Luis Muriel could be ready to make a move to the Premier League after the World Cup, according to his agent.
The 22-year-old only moved to Italy from his homeland in 2010, but his impact at Udinese has been great, which has put him firmly in contention to represent his nation in Brazil later this year.
Although a big club in their domestic league, the Bianconeri may struggle to keep hold of Muriel, who is ready to test himself at a higher level.
His agent, Helmuth Wennin, says that his client is focused on the rest of the season with Udinese ahead of the showpiece tournament, but that after that he could make a big decision regarding his career:
“Now is not the time to talk about the market. Udinese and the forthcoming World Cup with Colombia are the only things in Luis’ head,” he is quoted by talkSPORT.
“When will he decide his future? Surely after the end of the World Cup.”
Liverpool and United may make serious moves in the next window, with both clubs keen to bolster their attacking options.
