David Moyes is plotting a summer move for Real Sociedad star Antoine Griezmann, according to the Daily Mirror.
The United boss was present to watch Griezmann make his international debut for France in Paris on Wednesday night.
The Real Sociedad forward has been on exceptional form in La Liga this season, managing 20 goals so far.
He also caught the eye of the Moyes when he featured in both Champions League group games against United last year.
United scout David Friio is understood to be a big fan of the 22-year-old, and reckons he could be a potential star of the summer’s World Cup.
“Griezmann would bring something,” he said.
“His versatility and technique, in a tournament where space is limited, are real assets. You can’t score 15 goals in a great league without having real qualities.”
Arsenal have previously been linked with a move for the rising star, with Arsene Wenger admitting his interest.
“Yes, we follow him in great detail,” Wenger said.
“He attracts other clubs as well. But we follow him, he is a known commodity,” confirmed the Frenchman.
