Pep Guardiola looks like a seasoned Premier League veteran after the start he's had at his new club.
The Spaniard has only been at Manchester City a couple of months but has changed the way they play visibly, apparently given the likes of Raheem Sterling a new lease of life as well as shaking things up in the goalkeeping department.
Three wins from three games has certainly helped his bedding in period and it wouldn't be surprising if he now tried to get a few more in as Champions League football wings it's way to the North West in September.
We think Guardiola might just fancy a few more signings to join his revolution before the window slams shut on the 31st, and he should consider these five of these Ligue 1 stars...
Lucas Moura
Lucas Moura is a very talented player but he's never going to realise his full potential in the French division.
PSG have a real hold on that league right now but don't seem to have the quality to crack Europe, which you'd argue City now could under their new boss.
An attacking line involving the Brazilian, Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne et al. would be devastating and make the whole of Europe sit up and take note.
Fabinho
Pablo Zabaleta has been a top right-back for years for City but the Argentine is starting to get past his best and it may be time to look for a change for the seasons to come.
Fabinho is one of the best right-backs in France and has only been stopped from being Brazil's main right-back because of the likes of Dani Alves.
He's entering his prime now, so would be perfect for City's new era and his European competition experience would be a help too.
Blaise Matuidi
City lack bite in central midfield.
Guardiola has never really had many midfield enforcers in his teams but that's arguably because he hasn't needed them. At Barcelona they played in a league that was much more technical than physical whilst in the Bundesliga at Bayern Munich they pretty much played everyone off the park so didn't need a tough-tackler.
The Premier League is different though. It may not be as technically as good but the physical side is more apparent than anywhere else and City need someone like Matuidi for those battles.
Layvin Kurzawa
City may be okay at least on the right side of defence with the ageing Zabaleta but on the left side they may not be so lucky.
Gael Clichy and Aleksandar Kolorov are decent Premier League players, make no mistake, but they are not top drawer and that's what you need across the pitch to win leagues and in Europe.
Guardiola knows that better than most and should be looking at PSG's Kurzawa as he's on course to be one of the game's best.
Marquinhos
Defensively speaking City are stronger with John Stones but still need Vincent Kompany back fit as soon as possible.
The Belgian is world class and would arguably get in any side on the planet. Naturally, though, Guardiola will only wait for so long for him to return before he looks for a replacement and Marquinhos could be the one.
The Brazilian has bags of potential that the Spaniard could unlock as he is trying to do with Stones and the two together would be a very strong partnership if he moulded them in the form he wants.
