Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has refused to rule out a potential move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Ivorian international is widely thought of as one of the world’s top central players, and has often been lauded for his powerful yet technically adept playing style.
With his status within the game, there have been tentative links between Toure and PSG, who have the financial strength to compete for the planet’s top players.
Although he is adamant that he’s happy at City, the 30-year-old says that he may consider a future switch to the Parc des Princes:
“Anything is possible. Why not? In life you never know.” He is quoted by The Express.
“Everything is going well right now at City, but you never know.
“When you have a great team like them, where there are already great players, it obviously draws your attention.
“Being part of an adventure like this, a group like this, it is exceptional.
“For me, PSG is a great club.”
City and PSG could feasibly meet in this year’s Champions League, with both sides among the favourites to claim the prestigious trophy.
Toure says that he is wary of having to face the Parisians:
“PSG have exceptional strength.
“For me, PSG is scary. I have great respect for them.
“They have a financial power that enables them to buy great players and they have proved that they are in a league of their own.
“To be honest, PSG scares me.”
