Manchester City have been told to bid at least £25m if they want to secure a deal for Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.
The Sky Blues are looking increasingly likely to draft in a new stopper in the winter with Manuel Pellegrini becoming increasingly frustrated by Joe Hart’s error-prone performances.
The England international’s latest in a long line of gaffes saw the club surrender a point late on against Chelsea, as the Citizens ‘keeper came off his line prematurely to confuse Matija Nastasic and allow Fernando Torres to tap in.
Muslera is one man that the club are believed to be looking at, with the Uruguayan having been impressive for Gala for some time.
But, the Turkish giants are desperate to keep him in Istanbul, and club president Unal Aysal says that he will only be sold if a big offer is received:
“I hope Fernando stays with us but we know there is interest in him in England,” he is quoted by The Metro.
“If a big offer arrives, maybe £25million, we will consider selling him.”
City are also thought to be looking at Celtic’s Fraser Forster and Real Madrid icon Iker Casillas.
