Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has laughed off talk of him being sacked and has named four strikers that he wants to sign in the future.

The Italian boss has come under pressure in recent weeks with City falling well behind United in the title race but he doesn’t expect to leave the Etihad in the summer.

Instead Mancini has named Luis Suarez, Edinson Cavani, Radamel Falcao and Neymar as top players and ones that he would love to sign in the near future.

Suarez has been on scintillating form for Liverpool this season and if the Reds do not qualify for Europe this season, the Uruguayan may leave.

Fellow Uruguayan Cavani has recently signed a new deal at Napoli but has stated his desire to win trophies and play in the Champions League.

Falcao has a £50million release clause at Atletico Madrid and so City would be able to talk to the player if that was met but Mancini does not see Neymar coming to England just yet as the physical side of the game would not suit him.

"I don't know what can happen,” Mancini told The Guardian.

"Suarez plays for a top team like Liverpool. Cavani plays for Napoli. There's Falcao but, again, all the managers like him.”

"Neymar is a good player, he's young, but I don't know if he's ready to play in England, because the football is totally different.

"I think he will go to Barcelona  or (Real) Madrid where the football is more technical. But Cavani and Falcao would work in England.
