Manchester City have been doing quite well for themselves this season, challenging for the Premier League title and winning the first trophy of the season in the Capital One Cup.
However, next year it’s certain they’ll be gunning to go further in the Champions League, so there’s always room for improvement.
Their attack has been almost flawless. In Sergio Aguero, you have one of the best strikers on the planet. His ever-changing strike partners of Alvaro Negredo, Edin Dzeko, and the now fit Stevan Jovetic are not too shabby either.
In midfield you have Yaya Toure – a complete midfielder with 20 goals in all competitions thus far, David Silva’s quick feet and silky passing, and a defensive anchorman in Fernandinho.
However it is their back-line, where they’ve been let down most. Captain Vincent Kompany is world class, but his centre-back partners currently don’t cut the mustard.
Right back is a shoe-in for the ever consistent Pablo Zabaleta, but Gael Clichy and Aleksandar Kolarov have failed to impress on a regular basis on the left.
Therefore, we have decided to look at SIX Summer Signings that can plug the holes in that leaky Manchester City defence.
