Javi Garcia could be heading for the Manchester City exit door this summer, according to MirrorFootball.
The Premier League champions were hoping to offload Garcia’s compatriot Alvaro Negredo this summer but have been forced to rethink after the striker was ruled out for three months with a metatarsal injury.
And with the imminent £32million arrival of Eliaquim Mangala set to take City over the foreign player quota, Man City are eager to offload at least one before the start of the new campaign.
Garcia, who signed for City from for £15.8m in 2012, has seen his City future hit a snag in recent weeks with the arri val of Fernando and he could welcome a move away in order to secure first team opportunities elsewhere.
So far Napoli are the only club to have shown interest, with City happy to accept a loan deal should the Italians want to ‘try-before-they-buy.’
