Under Pep Guardiola Manchester City are reaching heights previously unheard of.

The Spaniard has implemented a philosophy at the club that has the whole world talking about City. Guardiola's philosophy is simple yet every effective - football is a squad game.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager made some shrewd signings for the club this summer that strengthened City's chances of competing in all four competitions. City do not need to rely on a single player anymore as they continue to prove doubters wrong by achieving great victories with players who were just rotational players last season.

From youth players, experienced players to ageing players, Guardiola has blended the chemistry at Manchester City to enable who teams at City capable of winning the Premier League.

Here's what we feel would be an XI capable of winning the Premier League...

Willy Caballero

Willy Caballero

Once La Liga goalkeeper of the year, Caballero famously ousted Joe Hart from the Manchester City team at the beginning of this season.

The Argentine almost single handed won City the Capital One Cup in February against Liverpool when he saved three penalties. He is a great shot-stopper but certainly has some question marks over his ability under the ball.

Pablo Zabaleta

Pablo Zabaleta - Manchester City

You wouldn't be wrong to say Pablo Zabaleta has been Manchester City's most consistent performer since the Abu-Dhabi takeover in 2008.

The right-back may be 32 now ,but the Argentine still has the passion and commitment to guide a team through some of the league's toughest fixtures.

Second choice to Bacary Sagna now, Zabaleta would still start at the majority of Premier League teams.

Vincent Kompany

Vincent Kompany

The Belgian is yet to feature for Manchester City this season as he continues his battle back to fitness. Kompany has been one of the best defenders in the world since joining Manchester City and the club's most successful captain also.

Surly not a bad replacement for John Stones or Nicolas Otamendi should they be dropped.

Tosin Adarabioyo

Tosin Adarabioyo

The 18-year-old is widely tipped to force his way into Pep Guardiola's first-team squad. The Manchester teenage has been at the club since the age of 9.

Strong, composed on the ball, and a born leader make Adbarabioyo a potential future Premier League winner and allow City even more options in a position recently deemed unacceptable as they hoped to challenge for all four major honours.

Gael Clichy

Gael Clichy

Mr.Consistency for City, Gael Clichy is often dropped and receives a starting position once again. Certainly not the best full-back in the world but Clichy offers a security to City every-time he plays.

The three-time Premier League winner would be a suitable starter for any team aiming for a title victory.

Fernando

Fernando

The Octopus was his nickname in Portugal when he represented Porto and it's not difficult to see why. Technically, Fernando is not the most glorious player to watch on the ball but his 'no nonsense' style enables the City attack to play with freedom.

A £12million signing from Porto, Fernando struggled to adapt to the English game originally but he as improved tenfold since the beginning of the 2015/2016 season and certainly a worthy replacement for Pep Guardiola.

Ilkay Gundogan

Ilkay Gundogan

A clever signing by Guardiola saw Gundogan swap Dortmund for City. Gundogan is the perfect Guardiola player to implement his high intensity and passing style.

The German international was crucial during Dortmund's Champions League final run in 2013 and City will be hopeful the central-midfielder can reestablish the same form once again.

Yaya Toure

Yaya Toure (centre)

The Ivory Coast international may be 33 years-old but his ability to create special moments at special times makes Toure makes City capable of hurting you at any stage. Toure isn't flavour of the week at the Etihad currently with Pep Guardiola ousting him from the majority of first-team squads.

Toure would undeniable an improvement to any team and is certainly capable of winning the Premier League once again.

Leroy Sané

Leroy Sane

Sané joined City this summer following an impressive break-through at Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04. In doing so, Sané became the most expensive German player and it's no surprise why.

If players like this are sitting on Guardiola's bench you have to be extremely fearful of City. Sané's excellent dribbling and ability to stretch defences make him ideal for the English game.

Jesus Navas

Jesus Navas

World Cup winner Jesus Navas arrived at Manchester City with a superb reputation for being one of Europe's best wingers. He had to  change his game massively to suit the English game and that's exactly what the Spaniard did to become a success.

The perfect team-mate and ever the professional, Navas is always a suitable option for Guardiola to choose when selecting his side.

Kelechi Iheanacho

Kelechi Iheanacho

You would have to search far and wide to find a more clinical teenager in world football at the moment. Nigerian forward Iheanacho has made quiet the impression at City since scoring against Crystal Palace in September 2015.

Since then the striker has claimed a further nine Premier League goals from just 13 shots on target. Iheanacho is the closest player anyone will see to Daniel Sturridge.
