Bacary Sagna says that Manchester City are targeting every single trophy they’re in contention for this season.

The Sky Blues are currently defending Premier League and Capital One Cup champions, and have, arguably, the strongest squad in the English game.

Two league wins from two games have kicked off their campaign in fine fashion, and positivity at the club is still high after the Champions League draw saw them placed alongside Bayern Munich, CSKA Moscow and Roma.

And Sagna – who signed for the club on a free transfer from Arsenal over the summer – says that his new side are looking to win ALL the competitions they are involved in to secure an unprecedented quadruple:

“We want to win everything but we know how difficult it will be.” He is quoted by Sky Sports.

“I can promise the City fans I will work hard and never give less than 100 per cent when I play.

“We are the Premier League champions and we know everyone will want to beat us, but we will be ready.”

City are yet to have made any major impact on the European scene, but they claimed the FA Cup in 2011.
