Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out either Fabio Coentrao or Alvaro Morata leaving the Bernabeu this month, according to talkSPORT.
Both players have found first team football hard to come by in the Spanish capital, and have been linked with January moves away.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for Portugese left back Coentrao, while young forward Morata is believed to be a target for Arsenal, who want to sign the striker on loan following the injury sustained by Theo Walcott.
Argentine winger Angel Di Maria is another who has been linked with a potential January move, with Manchester United once again the most likely destination.
However, Ancelotti has reiterated his desire to keep his squad together until the end of the season, and has insisted that nobody will be leaving the club during this transfer window.
“No-one is leaving and no-one is coming in,” said the Italian. “We have a good squad. We don’t need anything.”
The news will come as a blow to both Premier League clubs, especially Arsenal.
The Gunners are desperate to bring in striking cover following the injury to Walcott, although Wenger is reluctant to spend big money during this window, and had Morata in mind as the ideal short term solution.
