Manchester United have arguably had the best window out of anyone in the Premier League in terms of the names they've signed.

Say what you want about the fee they've forked out for Paul Pogba, ultimately he's the kind of player to help win you games and leagues. The French midfielder is world class of course, but it could actually be the other three big names to have come in so far that make the difference.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has quickly found his shooting boots and is dominating Premier League defences already. Eric Bailly has slotted straight into the Red Devils defence and made them look so much stronger and Henrikh Mkhitaryan has come in and although not playing much just yet, when he is up to speed he'll be crucial.

Jose Mourinho was quick to get the men he wanted in as is so often the way with the Portuguese but he may just have a couple of tricks up his sleeve to pull off before the deadline.

So we think it's a good idea to watch out for these five potential moves...

Raphael Varane

It looks as though, for this season at least, Raphael Varane will not be a Manchester United player.

Nevertheless, this is Jose Mourinho we are dealing with here and as a man who is as coy as the best of them you can never rule anything out.

There were times over the summer Paul Pogba didn't look like he'd come to Old Trafford, and look how that panned out.

Fabinho

Mourinho likes specialists and yet he's still got Antonio Valencia as his right-back so it makes sense to expect a deal for an orthodox option in this window.

It's been suggested that he wants to stay at current club Monaco to compete in the Champions League but after the likes of Pogba, Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan all sacrificed that to join the Old Trafford club don't be surprised if it still goes through.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin

In Marcus Rashford Manchester United truly have a young player that looks like he'll be at the top for a long time to come but who's going to join him in the Red Devils front line?

If you believe the latest rumours it could just be Sheffield United forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin who has shot to prominence.

The Blades are struggling in League 1 so far this season and that could only get worse if their starlet gets snapped up.

Fonte is a solid Premier League player and would offer competition for Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly at the back. Mourinho knows how important competition for places is and Fonte will feel he can step up.

According to the Independent, United have scouted the 23-year-old Uruguayan forward with a view to signing him.

The Bordeaux man knows where the goal is but hasn't got the Ligue 1 attention in recent times because of Alexandre Lacazette and Ibrahimovic. He'd be an understudy to the big Swede at United but ultimately the aim would be for him to take over when he retires.
