Manchester United welcome a new manager this summer in the form of Louis van Gaal. Indeed, the Netherlands manager boasts an impressive CV, including three different league titles from spells with Ajax, Bayern Munich and Barcelona and the Champions League title.

But having never worked in the Premier League before, it remains to be seen whether the 62 year-old can transition his notorious methodical madness to the English game. Furthermore, to suggest there aren’t notable dark patches in LVG’s resume would be untrue.
