Ajax boss Ronald de Boer has revealed that if Manchester United match their £15m valuation they will be free to sign Daley Blind.
Red Devils chief Louis van Gaal is rumoured to be looking at the player he coached for Holland over the course of the past few years, after being impressed with his displays under him at the World Cup earlier this summer.
Talks between United and Ajax are understood to have been rumbling away over the course of the past few days, with the player himself thought to be keen on a move to Old Trafford.
Although he’s a valued member of the Amsterdam outfit’s first-team, de Boer says that they “won’t refuse” an offer that meets their valuation:
“If there is a certain amount of money on the table for Blind, we won’t refuse,” he is quoted by The Metro.
“I’ll wish him all the best in the future.
“The temptation is there to go if such a big club comes in for him.”
Blind impressed in a left wing-back role for the Oranje, but played most of last season in a holding midfield position.
