After setting a world-record last summer with the £89m purchase of Antoine Griezmann, Manchester United look set to do it all over again this summer as The Independent reports the Red Devils will go all-out for Antoine Griezmann.

Since moving to Atletico Madrid from Real Sociedad, Griezmann has established himself as one of the finest strikers in the world and finished behind only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the Ballon D'Or rankings for 2016.

Still just 25, turning 26 in March, Griezmann's potential is scary for the coming years and Manchester United would possess an attacking line to compete with Europe's finest if they were to emerge successful in their bid to land the Frenchman.

As the above figures show, Griezmann has a very impressive record of seven goals and four assists in 17 appearances this season- and it says a lot that the Frenchman would probably feel he could be doing a lot better.

Chipping in with 27 chances created and having 44 shots, Griezmann is certainly a thorn in the side of any defender and he could definitely be a superstar at Old Trafford.
