David Moyes is set to complete the signing of teenage striker Bruno Gomes, according to the Express.

Gomes, 17, who currently plays for Brazilian side Desportivo Brasil, had a trial with the Manchester United last summer when previous manager Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge, but with Moyes now at the helm, the Scotsman is determined to try and sign the Brazilian forward as Arsenal, Real Madrid, Udinese and Sao Paulo are all interested in the young striker.

The Red Devils hold first refusal over the 17-year-old, but the deal is cancelled in the event of a bid over a certain level from another club, which is why Moyes is determined to take advantage of this and sign the Brazilian starlet. Desportivo Brasil and Manchester United are affiliated clubs so if Moyes moves quick, he can tie up a deal with little fuss.

If the deal were to go through, Gomes will be alongside Adnan Januzaj, Nick Powell and Wilfried Zaha as the future of United’s attacking force.
