Manchester United youngster Wilfried Zaha will be allowed to leave the club on loan, should United’s injury list shorten.
The Manchester Evening News are reporting that David Moyes only wants to let Zaha go if Ashley Young and Nani return from injury.
The English youngster, who signed from Crystal Palace 12 months ago, has had limited opportunities at United, with Moyes placing his faith in Adnan Januzaj instead of Zaha. But the Scot was quick to deny reports that Zaha had stormed out of a meeting with the manager after discovering he couldn’t leave the club on a short-term deal:
“I had a 30 seconds chat on the training pitch today and we were talking away, So there was nothing like that.” said Moyes.
“Wilfried Zaha has a chance. I have told him that if I can’t get him the games I will put him out on loan. But he can’t go out while we have Ashley Young and Nani injured and I would be surprised if anyone thought was a possibility.”
Zaha has been linked with loan moves to Cardiff, Newcastle, and a return to Crystal Palace this month, but has been informed his future lies in the hands of his teammates’ fitness. The 21-year-old has made just 2 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils.
