Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that he misses his relationship with Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and claims the 70-year-old is his father in football.

Ronaldo rose to stardom under Ferguson’s management at Old Trafford where he became one of the best players in the world, but even now being managed by Jose Mourinho seems not to compare to Ferguson.

“He’s a fantastic person. A human person,” Ronaldo said, as reported by The Sun.

“He taught me many things.

“Like I said before, he’s like a father in football.

“I really miss him and my relationship with him.”

“He is very tough. I think he cannot be like that because, how old is he? 70? It’s not good for his heart.

“He’s still tough, strong, I remember him the first time I saw him he was with the same power.”
