It was revealed earlier this week that Rio Ferdinand will finally call time on an incredibly illustrious Manchester United career, spanning twelve years, five Premier League titles and one Champions League title.

The Red Devils face a tough task replacing the former England international – with title-winning centre-back partner Nemanja Vidic departing for Inter Milan on a bosman move too – being commonly regarded as one of the greatest defenders in Premier League and Three Lions history.
