It’s no secret that Manchester United plan to spend big this summer as they welcome a new manager and according to the Daily Mail that could come in the form of Bayern Munich’s Thomas Muller.

The 24-year-old is commonly regarded as one of the finest talents in German football and contributed a vital thirteen goals to the Bavarians’ Bundesliga title bid this season.

But with Pep Guardiola famed for his obscure tactical selections, the versatile forward has featured in six different positions this season and has only lasted the full 90 minutes on 18 occasions across all competitions. Reportedly miffed and refusing to answer questions on his future at the Allianz Arena, it’s believed he could be eyeing a move away this summer.

Louis van Gaal issued Muller his Bayern debut in 2009 and is reportedly keen to make the German international one of his first Old Trafford signings, with the Daily Mail mooting a potential £37million fee.

The Red Devils are expected to spend around £200million this summer however, so it’s safe to assure Muller won’t be the only coveted star joining the Old Trafford ranks.

With that in mind, here’s a list of SIX big-money stars who could follow him to Carrington in the coming transfer window.
