Manchester United has had undoubtedly their worst season for the past two decades, not good enough to be even involved in the UEFA Champions League after 20 years in the competition.

Everyone expected that there will be a drop in their performance, but not this low. Man United fans were not used to it. They have been spoiled by the club’s consistent success and assumed David Moyes would bring them the same.

But after finishing 7th the past season and the hierarchy hiring a new manager in Louis van Gaal, there is an air of expectancy that the Red Devils will once again climb the echelons of world football.

The best method to do that is to rid the team if deadweight players and bring in some fresh talent. And what better way to scout for United’s missing pieces than to watch them play on the world’s biggest stage, this summer’s FIFA World Cup.

In Group C, we see a Falcao-less Columbia take on Greece, Japan, and the Ivory Coast. There are some interesting prospects Van Gaal could take a gamble on, and obviously some well known talents that the rest of Europe are also targeting.

Here are SIX players Manchester United should sign from Group C.
